The value for money at this hostel was very nice - we got a huge comfortable king size bed in a fabulously clean room. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the station, and the staff treated us so well, giving us all the information we needed and offering warm hospitality.
The only thing I wish was better about the breakfast option was the variety.

During our stay at Piece Hostel, we were incredibly impressed with the cleanliness of the hostel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, always greeting us with a smile. The breakfast had a good variety of options, and we even had the chance to participate in an "Okonomiyaki party" where we learned to cook this delicious food. Despite a minor drawback of limited breakfast choices, our overall experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend Piece Hostel to anyone visiting Kyoto. I'll definitely recommend this hostel.

This made it really convenient for exploring the city. the beds in the dorm room were spacious and super comfortable. I had a great night's sleep! - the staff were friendly and professional, and they spoke excellent English. They were always ready to help and make recommendations.
The showers were a bit annoying to use. You had to keep pushing the knob for the water to stay on, and in some showers, the water only stayed on for a few seconds before going off again.
